3rd Interlude, page 1


I didn't realize that I had said Saturday (the 7th) would be the new page. For some reason I thought the 7th was a Sunday. At any rate, I didn't manage to finish the page by Sunday either. But here it is now!

Way back at the start of the comic, I promised no blatant pop culture references. I broke that in the very first chapter with Perrault's "these boots are made for walking" line. Now I'm breaking it again with the title of this Interlude, a line which has been a source of soul-searing anguish and frustration for so many children from my generation. I've been looking forward to doing this Interlude for a while; hope you enjoy it.

I still have a bunch of emails to answer; thank you for being patient! And if anyone is interested, I do actually have a Twitter; I've decided to start posting updates there as well.

Although.....about your titling of the Interludes, unless people see the table of contents, they won't know the interludes even have a title anyway....or are you going to have some title pages for them later?

Well, the interludes so far have had pretty boring titles (the first one didn't even have a title until I started on the second one), so it didn't really seem necessary. I might put in title pages for the eventual print version, though.

I was so happy when I received my update notification, since the last chapter ended in such a cliff-hanger (and with Perrault threatening to grow bored, despite himself X3. Gosh, I love him.)!

Ahahaha, mistaken castle, I pressume? That's funny.

Great job on the new page, dear, I can't wait to see where that goes (now I'm starting to worry about The Boy's fate now... hahaha)

*wanders past the archives as he does every handful of months* Might I just say that song is seven shades of awesome? I like this comic quite a bit, even if I don't keep track of the updates on any regular basis, but the previous interlude with prince Ricardo stuck out as one of the finest pieces of webcomic humour I've had the fortune to come across. And this one looks set to match it. Now... time to go check the archives and see what else has been going on with the plot. Thanks for writing this, Randal
